The Dawning of Tess

With those cryptic words from her soon-to-be-boss at a radio station, new college graduate Tess Corbin entered the working world. It’s 1984, and women were just beginning to occupy desks in radio and TV newsrooms, and Tess is optimistic and determined to live out her dream as a working reporter.
As challenging as the world can be after life on campus, Tess came across some surprising mentors to launch her life and career. As a reporter, Tess found herself in the middle of disasters, landed her back stage with rock stars, and facing struggles in a male dominated profession. The new adult world involves looking for a job, succeeding in that job, meeting new friends, while navigating matters of the heart.
Rocky's Christmas Tree
Rocky is a small owl with a big problem. While asleep in his favorite fir tree, he realizes his tree is being cut down by lumberjacks and he is stuck in the branches! This leads to an unexpected adventure for the little owl.
Along the way Rocky learns about kindness from strangers, and understands that a fir tree was meant to grow up to be a beautiful Christmas Tree and bring joy to many.
